Your progress
How your practice time is counted
Every tool keeps its own clock while you use it: time spent playing, singing or answering counts, and long pauses don't. When you leave a tool or close the tab, the session is saved here. The practice timer adds whatever you time yourself, such as practice on your own instrument, and sessions under a minute are left out.
Levels, stars and streaks
Each level is a room of three or four steps: find your voice, hold a swara against the tanpura, sing a pattern back, name notes by ear, keep the beat, and later sing whole songs. A step is ticked only when you pass it, and steps you pass stay ticked for the rest of the day, so you can leave and come back.
Finish every step and the room gives you one to three stars, by how well you did. Passing a level opens the next one, and any level can be played again for more stars. Complete a room each day to earn the day's star and grow your streak; today doesn't break the streak until the day is over.
